I recommend everyone being in at least full i180+ with Ravana EX weapon (or Esoterics weapon) before even attempting. Faust is the gatekeeper to all things Savage, and he is a BEAST. Anything less than i180 will be an exercise in frustration. SE really went all out in making this something that people can't just steamroll and they did it very well… people really need to be on their A-game for this. As people come into enough tomes for Eso gear it will probably get easier.
As some of you know, Ven and I have finally unlocked Esoterics, amongst other things. We'll be heading into the trials to collect our weapons (whilst farming tomes) to gear up, first, but count us in when we hit that iLvl180+ requirement!
